The central theme of the symposium is “Bridging and expanding theory and practice”. Our goal is to bring together researchers to foster critical discussions on the ways of producing and practicing Science Education, from the perspective of CulturalHistorical Activity Theory (CHAT). For this, we invite submissions that reflect on the complexity of contemporary challenges – from disinformation to the construction of emancipatory pedagogical practices – and that contribute to a more just scientific education.
