ISCAR is governed by its Articles and Standing Orders. Sometimes practical needs arise that are not covered by the existing Articles and Standing Orders. To allow for a temporary formal solution, Article 45 and its associated Standing Order gives the possibility for the Executive Committee to issue Executive Orders, where the expectation is that they should be integrated into the Articles and/or Standing Orders as soon as possible.
